Volunteer at this year’s Far North Queensland Environment Roundtable!

If you are interested in getting your foot in the door, into the environment sector – advocacy, or in land management and conservation – this is not to be missed!

CAFNEC is once again hosting the Far North Queensland Environment Roundtable, alongside Douglas Shire Sustainability Group, on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of October.

The FNQ Environment Roundtable is an event that brings together conservation groups across the FNQ region to discuss, and collaborate on strategic issues for the region.

This is an opportunity for you to:
– Establish and strengthen networks in the environment sector;
– Hear from keynote speakers within land management and conservation;
– Participate in environmental advocacy training; and,
– Gain experience through volunteering alongside our organisation.

The event will be carried out over a two day period, and as such volunteers will have the role of supporting the delivery of the event on either one day, or both!

To find out more about the roles, please email me at intern2@nullcafnec.org.au. Your participation and involvement in the event would be much appreciated!
