"If elected to office in the Cairns Regional Council 2020 elections I vow to champion for the reopening of the Jack Barnes Bicentennial Mangrove Boardwalk and work with various stakeholders to find a solution to ensure this vital asset is not lost to the community. If elected I will meet with community representatives from the Save Jack Barnes group as a beginning to this work."
