On 17th November, tens of thousands of Australians will gather in capital cities and hundreds of regional towns to make it clear: the majority of Australians want stronger action on climate change.
Join us at the Cairns lagoon this Sunday at 11am for the Cairns Global Cooling Party! Wear orange or red (the colours of heat), bring oranges and orange coloured food and drink. Let’s have a wet, orange, protest party in the Lagoon! Bring placards and banners demanding climate action now! Gather at 11am, and at 11.30 we march – into the deep end of the lagoon. Remember, a 2 degree increase and Cairns will be under water. Wear orange, and let’s get wet for climate action!
