In June we will be running a range of webinars which will bring attention to the negative environmental impacts of plastic, while also getting our community ready for Plastic Free July.

Restrictions on gatherings are beginning to be lifted, however, the number of people that are allowed to gather is still limited, so for the meantime, we will continue to provide an online platform as a point of connection to our supporters and members and to highlight the project and campaign work we are involved in.

Third in the series, and kicking off our month of webinars in preparation for Plastic Free July we have Helen from Plastic Free Cairns.

Plastic Free Cairns is a program run by the Boomerang Alliance, a national peak not-for-profit formed in 2003 with the aim of a zero-waste society – to give local communities power in their struggle to stem the massive waste of discarded resources polluting our environment.
