Saltmarsh Assessment: White Rock

We hope you can join us at our salt marsh group expedition! As a team of 10 to 15 people, we will visit three salt marsh sites in Cairns and help bring prominence to this often overlooked but an ecologically important ecosystem. Prior knowledge about salt marshes in not necessary, as all training will be given on the day. By joining us you’re not only contributing much-needed scientific data but will also come away with a deeper understanding of the ecological and cultural values of salt marshes, as well as the many threats that they face.
