Night of Action: Speaking Up for a Safe Climate
Far North Queensland is reeling from the impacts of a changing climate. With the local government elections within our reach we want to ensure that our newly elected Mayor and Cairns Regional Council will take real action on Climate Change.
Join us for our Night of Action where we will be sharing our stories to the community, holding the mayoral candidates and councillors accountable to action on climate change, and encouraging our friends and family to take action too!
This will be a space of action. Come share ideas, build skills and meet other passionate folk!
WHEN: Tuesday 17th March, 5.30pm to 7.00pm
WHERE: Upstairs on the balcony at Cairns and Far North Environment Centre
BRING: Laptop if you have one!
Everyone who wants to get involved is welcome to come along. No prior knowledge or experience necessary, just a passion to take action for a safe climate and flourishing FNQ natural environment.
Nibbles, tea and coffee provided.
