Community Water Forum
The Cairns and Far North Environment Centre (CAFNEC) is hosting a Community Water Forum on Thursday 20 October to provide a space to inform, consult and involve key stakeholders, technical experts, and the broader community in understanding and making decisions about how Cairns’ water security issue is solved.
Our aim is to ensure that all practical solutions to our water crisis are discussed, as well as the risks and opportunities associated with each. This will involve an overview of the water security issue in our local context, the proposed solutions, hearing from stakeholders, a Q&A, and a community poll.
