Community Climate Action Group – Disaster Preparedness Night

After an amazing turnout on our first Community Climate Action Group (CAG) Night, we are super excited to host the second combined CAG Night on next Wednesday, 17th August!

This time joining us is Ms. Sioux Campbell, Disaster Management and Community Resilience Officer from the Cairns Regional Council who will be conducting an interactive workshop on disaster preparedness. This is going to be an interesting evening, where we can learn how to better plan, prepare and recover from the natural hazards that affect our families, our community, and our region.

We are delighted to invite you to attend this CAG Night and we really hope to see every one of you. If you are attending, we encourage you to bring two more people – your friends, family, or colleagues along with you to this space. It would also be great if you can also bring along some food/snacks/drinks to share with your fellow community members of the group.
