Brettacorp Inc – Member Group Training

Last year CAFNEC established our Community Organising and Leadership Program. A program that has been designed to have a core group of committed volunteers who have the skills in Community Organising and Campaign Strategy, and are able to provide the broader community and other organisations with the necessary and relevant support needed.

At CAFNEC, we do not have the capacity to help drive each and every campaign or build engagement around all of the environmental issues that exist in our region. However, as an umbrella organisation we want to ensure we can and will support our member groups in the work that they do.

Our Community Organising and Leadership Program allows us to do just that. With our Program we have the capability to commit time and resources to provide our member groups with relevant training that is uniquely tailored to the work they are doing, and provide strategic support to allow our member groups to build their leadership capacity to take effective action and increase engagement with their work.

In 2021, we are working alongside Brettacorp, to increase engagement with their work. Our core trainers will provide one full-day workshop based on a unique curriculum, and following that will provide ongoing support to help achieve the key outcomes.

This is an invitation for those who would like to learn how to take effective action for our FNQ natural environment, find out more about CAFNEC’s Training Program and meet like-minded people.
