Volunteer Welcome Morning (July)

CAFNEC would like to welcome our new volunteers to the organisation! CAFNEC’s Community Organiser will be hosting a welcome morning for all new volunteers, as well as community members who are interested to learning more about what CAFNEC does.

Volunteer Welcome Morning:

• You will have the opportunity to meet our staff, and hear about what they do and why they do what they do.
• You will be given a tour around the Centre, with a presentation on the history of the organisation, including a look at some of the old collection of resources and material used in campaigns and environmental land management back in the day.
• You will hear from a current volunteer, and why they joined the organisation and what they are doing.
• You will have an opportunity to meet and get to know other volunteers through break out sessions and fun activities.
• Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided.

Where: Cairns and Far North Environment Centre, 27-29 Greenslopes Street, North Cairns

When: Wednesday 20th July, 10am to 11am
