SUMMARY:Together for Nature Float – Cairns Festival Grande Parade
DESCRIPTION:Cairns Festival is a series of festivals celebrating Cairns’ attractions and talents. Cairns Esplanade hosts the main features, including the Grand Parade, being the festival’s highlight and showcases different performers on floats. Over the years CAFNEC has held a float to showcase the work of the environment sector; with banners, costumes, face paint, singing and chants, CAFNEC’s Members, volunteers and supporters all join in.\nThis year, CAFNEC will be once again facilitating this activity with our community as an opportunity to connect with one another, celebrate our achievements, and have fun. We encourage all our Member Groups, members, volunteers and supporters to come along and join us for this wonderful fun-filled event, and be part of our Together for Nature Float. Bring your banners, dress up wearing an animal costume, or wear your organisation’s t-shirt/logo. After the parade, we invite you to join us for informal networking drinks at the Salt House Bar. \nOnce you have registered below, Aïsha, our Community Organiser, will send you an email with further information.\nDetails – \nWhen: Saturday 26th August 2023, 3:00PM – 7:00PM\nWhere: To be confirmed.\nREGISTER HERE
