DESCRIPTION:CAFNEC would like to welcome our new volunteers to the organisation! CAFNEC’s Community Organiser will be hosting a welcome morning for all new volunteers, as well as community members who are interested to learning more about what CAFNEC does.\nVolunteer Welcome Morning:\n\nYou will have the opportunity to meet our staff, and hear about what they do and why they do what they do.\nYou will be given a tour around the Centre, with a presentation on the history of the organisation, including a look at some of the old collection of resources and material used in campaigns and environmental land management back in the day.\nYou will hear from a current volunteer, and why they joined the organisation and what they are doing.\nYou will have an opportunity to meet and get to know other volunteers through break out sessions and fun activities.\nTea, coffee and snacks will be provided.\n\nWhen: Wednesday 23rd March 10am to 11:30am.  Where: Cairns and Far North Environment Centre, 27-29 Greenslopes Street, North Cairns\nPlaces are limited so please register your details below.
