SUMMARY:Show up! Volunteer with CAFNEC
DESCRIPTION:We are asking you to show up.\n\nWe are in a time of uncertainty, and huge environmental challenges like we have never seen before.\nHigher temperatures, changes in fire frequency, more intense tropical cyclones and sea level rise are just some of the threats we face. While our rainforest and reef continue to suffer. Yet our government sits idle with inaction on climate change.\n\nClimate Change is not a problem that requires small efforts from a handful of individuals. We need a movement! Together, our volunteers are building a community who speak up for a safer climate and flourishing FNQ natural environment.\n\nCome along to our fortnightly volunteer meetings from 5pm to 6pm, upstairs at the Cairns and Far North Environment Centre.\n\nShow up, take action, make an impact.\n\nIf you have any questions please do not hesitate to email our Community Organiser, Aïsha, at getinvolved@nullcafnec.org.au.
