Membership
Where are my membership fees used? CAFNEC has to generate the bulk of its funding requirements through memberships and fundraising activities. Membership fees and donations make up a critical part of our resourcing. Your membership fee helps us keep the office open as a community resource and make it possible for us to do our work of awareness raising, lobbying and environmental protection.
What types of membership are available? We offer a concession rate for unemployed folk as well as offering individual, family and group memberships. Membership fees have a base component on which we pay GST. The balance goes as a donation to our Gift Fund and is tax deductible.
Membership with CAFNEC is renewed annually and all members receive copies of our quarterly newsletter Ecotone
If you would like to make a monthly contribution to CAFNEC, please make a note on the membership form and our administrator will be in touch to set up a direct debit facility.
CAFNEC has a membership email list which is used to notify members of upcoming events and any other interesting bits of information which we think our members would enjoy or find useful. CAFNEC is also running a regular series of talks and presentations to which all members are invited. Members are also free to sit in on our fortnightly meetings.
